More To-dos Checked Off!

Yesterday my fiance and I went to get our marriage license! It was super quick and easy. The guy didn't even ask to see our ID. Getting that piece of paper made the fact that we are really getting married so much more real! After that he treated me to Starbucks and we went to the cupcakery where we are getting the cupcakes for the wedding. I had to take them decorations for the cake table and try out the white chocolate raspberry cupcake that they are trying to create for me. It isn't quite there but they are close. I am also trying to motivate myself to pack for my bachelorette party this weekend. I hate packing but I love going away! Guess I need to just jump in with both feet. Wish me luck!

Our wedding bands!

I am sorry that I have not been posting as regularly as what I had been at first. The closer the wedding get it seems the more I have on my mind.
My fiance and I were able to get our wedding bands today! I am so excited that we have them and it is definitely making the fact that we are getting married so real! His is awesome and even though you may not be able to tell it has a dragon engraved on it. We have almost everything done now and it feels so good to not be worrying about a million things left on our to-do list. Only 35 days till I am a Mrs. My bachelorette party is next weekend and I can't wait!

Sick Puppies Concert!

In March my fiance bought me concert tickets for my birthday to go see Me Talk Pretty, Framing Hanley, & Sick Puppies. I was so bummed when the concert was postponed due to Emma (Sick Puppies bass player) getting sick. However, last night was the concert and it was AMAZING! I got to meet & greet with all 3 bands and they are so cool. I love when band members are really nice, down to earth people. The silver lining to the concert being last night was that since it was a few days after my b-day instead of a few days before I was able to drink! If you have never heard these bands they are definitely worth checking out!

Well, here are some pictures. My amazing stir-fry dinner is calling my name. Only 38 days left to go till the wedding!!!!

Good Day!

Today has been a good day on the wedding front! My fiance & I got to pick up my wedding band and it is beautiful along side my diamond! I also paid off the cupcakery that is doing our wedding cake. Besides that it was back to ULTA to continue my search for the right lip stain and Don Pablo's for dinner. I had my 2nd legal drink (woo hoo), a super yummy pina colada which was just what I needed after a long week. I also got two colors that look amazing under my Katy Perry shatter polish, a teal and a silver. This polish looks so much better over a bright color as opposed to a mate. Right now I am watching Burlesque which is an AMAZING movie, so yes, I am a very happy girl!! Good night, and good weekend all!

OPI Shatter

Today I went to ULTA for a lip stain to wear to the wedding and while I was there I asked if they happened to have OPI shatter polish in. TO my surprise they said yes! I have been trying to get this polish for months but they have been sold out of it constantly. I went home and tried it on and instantly fell in love! I need a lighter color for underneath as I used a deep red and it is harder to see the crackle If you used a bright neon I think it would look awesome! Now about that lip stain... I got Stila in coconut and am a big fan of that too! It is a natural color that stayed on through my dinner and kissing my fiance. I think it will work for the wedding since eating and kissing are what I plan to do on the big day :) I also got the Urban Decay Grind House sharpener for my 24/7 concealer stick. It was a little pricey but I had the ULTA friends & family coupon for 20% off. That made my order of 60 come out to around 40. Yea me! So, all in all I had a good day and got something I needed for the wedding. (I will post pictures of the nail polish when I get a lighter color to go underneath)

My Latest DIY Project

These (below) are the programs for our wedding. I have been working on them since last weekend and still am only half way done. I try to do a few a night and will be done in plenty of time for the wedding. They are considered petal fan invitations. They will serve a duel function; a fan, and the wedding program. I figured that since our wedding is outside this is a smart way to kill two birds with one stone. Anyways, I am rambling. On a very happy note, we went and picked our wedding bands Monday! I will post pictures as soon as they are back in from being sized. This is a fairly low key weekend when it comes to wedding stuff. Friday I have to give the cupcakery a deposit, Saturday is my hair trial run, and Sunday I go to Men's Warehouse with the information for the grooms men's tuxes. Only 45 days till the wedding and I can't wait!

Birth Day Fun!

Today was my 21st birth day and a great one at that (minus the trip to the DMV to switch my license to "of age"). My fiance took me to pick out our wedding bands, got me a bathing suit from Victoria's Secret, took me to Starbucks, and too me to dinner at the Cheesecake Factory! I am a very lucky (and spoiled) girl! We also stopped in Crate & Barrel to add things to our gift registry. Have you been in there this spring? They have SO MUCH cute stuff in stock! So yea, it's been an awesome birthday but I am worn out so I will keep this post short. I am the type of girl who drags her b-day out for as long as possible, so there may be some more posts on the subject throughout the week!
This is Tommy's take on gift registries. LOL
 Me. Happy to be 21!
Yummy bikini martini at the Cheesecake Factory!
